Ethyl 3-Ethoxypropionate (EEP)
Slow-Evaporating Ether-Ester Coating Solvent — High Polymer Solvency for Coatings, Inks & Electronic / Photoresist Applications
CAS: 763-69-9 EC: 212-112-9 Assay: ≥ 99.5%
Ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate (EEP, CAS 763-69-9) is a slow-evaporating ether-ester solvent valued in high-performance coatings and inks for its excellent polymer solvency, good flow and levelling, resistance to solvent popping in baking, moderate odour, low surface tension, and high electrical resistance. A non-glycol-ether, non-HAP solvent, it is widely used as a tail solvent in automotive, industrial, marine, and aerospace coatings and as a photoresist solvent in electronics. Royalchem Spain supplies it at ≥ 99.5% purity as a clear, colourless liquid, delivered from our Valladolid distribution hub by drum, IBC, or ISO tank.

*Regulatory: EINECS-listed (EC 212-112-9); supplied in line with EU REACH requirements; manufactured under ISO 9001. GHS — Warning: flammable liquid and vapour (H226, flash point ≈ 52 °C); may cause mild skin or eye irritation. Shipped as a Class 3 flammable liquid (UN 1993, PG III) — keep away from heat, sparks, and ignition sources, with proper bonding and grounding. EEP is a non-HAP solvent but is counted as 100% VOC by some regulators (e.g. US SCAQMD) — verify VOC status for your market. Always refer to the current SDS.
