LAS Na (Solid)
Sodium Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (LAS / SDBS) — Anionic Surfactant Powder, 60–90% Active
CAS: 25155-30-0 EC: 246-680-4 Active Matter: 60–90%
LAS Na (sodium linear alkylbenzene sulfonate, also called SDBS, CAS 25155-30-0) is the neutralised sodium salt of linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid (LABSA) and one of the world's most widely used anionic surfactants. Supplied as a white-to-yellowish free-flowing powder in active-matter grades from 60% to 90%, it delivers strong detergency, wetting, foaming, and emulsification with the high (> 90%) biodegradability that makes it ideal for powder and granular detergents. Royalchem supplies all four standard grades for household and industrial cleaning.

*Regulatory: EINECS-listed (EC 246-680-4); REACH-registered; manufactured under ISO 9001. Readily biodegradable (> 90%). A mild skin and eye irritant and harmful if swallowed; its principal concern is aquatic — avoid release to waterways. Generally handled as a non-dangerous-goods detergent raw material, though some classifications mark it as an environmentally hazardous substance (aquatic). Use dust protection, gloves, and eye protection. Always refer to the current SDS.

Powder & Granular Detergents
The core anionic surfactant in laundry powders, detergent granules, and dishwashing and household cleaning powders, providing detergency, foaming, and soil dispersion even in hard water.
Industrial & Institutional Cleaning
Used in industrial degreasers, hard-surface cleaners, and concentrated cleaning formulations as a cost-effective primary surfactant with strong wetting and emulsifying power.
Specialty & Process Uses
An emulsifier and dispersant in textiles, emulsion polymerisation (rubber and resin), agrochemical formulations, papermaking, electroplating degreasing, and mining flotation.
