3,5-Dimethylpyrazole (DMP, 3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole, CAS 67-51-6) is a white crystalline pyrazole derivative and a versatile nitrogen-heterocyclic building block. Its symmetrical dimethyl-substituted pyrazole ring makes it a high-performance blocking agent for isocyanates in single-component (1K) polyurethane coatings, a nitrification inhibitor for enhanced-efficiency fertilizers, and a key intermediate in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and coordination-ligand synthesis. Royalchem Spain supplies it at ≥ 99.5% purity as a white crystalline solid, delivered from our Valladolid distribution hub by fiber drum with COA and SDS for every batch.

A high-performance blocking agent for isocyanates in single-component (1K) polyurethane systems. Its relatively low deblocking temperature gives long pot life and excellent film properties in automotive clear coats, industrial maintenance coatings, powder coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
A building block for nitrification inhibitors in enhanced-efficiency fertilizers. DMP-type inhibitors can improve nitrogen-use efficiency, prolong ammonium (NH₄⁺) availability, and reduce nitrate (NO₃⁻) leaching and nitrous oxide (N₂O) emissions, supporting EU sustainability goals.
A versatile two-nitrogen building block for active pharmaceutical ingredients, agrochemicals, and heterocyclic chemistry, and a classic bidentate ligand (pyrazole donor) in coordination and organometallic synthesis.
Standard Packaging:
25 kg fiber drums, with 50 kg steel drums, 200 kg drums, or custom packaging on request. Distributed by Royalchem Spain from our Valladolid hub. Shelf life 24 months in original sealed packaging.
Storage Conditions:
Store below 30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, in tightly closed containers protected from moisture, heat, and strong oxidising agents. The solid is mildly hygroscopic — keep drums sealed to preserve assay and free-flowing form.
