Isopropylamine dodecylbenzene sulfonate (isopropylamine DDBSA, isopropylammonium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, CAS 26264-05-1) is a high-activity anionic surfactant — the isopropylamine salt of linear dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid — supplied as a viscous yellow liquid at ≥ 90% active. Oil-soluble and an excellent emulsifier, wetting, and degreasing agent, it is widely used as the anionic component of agrochemical emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulations and in household, institutional, and industrial cleaners, as well as in emulsion polymerisation, coatings, textile and leather processing, and oilfield chemicals. Royalchem Spain supplies it from our Valladolid distribution hub by drum or IBC with COA and SDS for every batch.

The anionic partner in emulsifiable concentrate (EC) pesticide and herbicide formulations, combined with nonionic surfactants to give stable, fine spray emulsions and good active-ingredient solubilisation.
An emulsifier, degreasing and wetting agent for kitchen and hand-wash detergents, heavy-duty and metal-cleaning formulations, and institutional and industrial cleaners.
An emulsifier and dispersant for emulsion polymerisation and coating auxiliaries, a textile and leather processing aid, and an oilfield/EOR surfactant that lowers oil–water interfacial tension and stabilises emulsions.
Standard Packaging:
200 kg HDPE or steel drums, or IBC totes (approx. 1000 kg) — or to customer requirement. Distributed by Royalchem Spain from our Valladolid hub. Shelf life 24 months in original sealed packaging.
Storage Conditions:
Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from strong oxidising agents and strong bases. The product is viscous and mildly acidic — gentle warming may be needed to pump in cold conditions, and compatible (HDPE or lined) packaging should be used.
