N-Methylaniline (NMA, monomethylaniline, CAS 100-61-8) is a high-purity secondary aromatic amine and a versatile organic intermediate. It is widely used as a cost-effective, non-metallic octane booster (anti-knock additive) for gasoline, and as a key intermediate for agrochemicals such as buprofezin, for cationic and azo dyes, and for a range of fine-chemical syntheses where it also serves as a solvent and acid acceptor. Royalchem Spain supplies it at ≥ 99% purity as a primrose-yellow liquid, delivered from our Valladolid distribution hub by drum or ISO tank with COA and SDS for every batch.

A cost-effective, non-metallic octane booster and anti-knock additive used to raise the octane number and improve the combustion performance of gasoline.
A key intermediate for the synthesis of pesticides and herbicides — including the insecticide buprofezin — and other crop-protection actives.
A coupling component for cationic and azo dyes and pigments, and a versatile secondary-amine reagent, solvent, and acid acceptor in organic synthesis.
Standard Packaging:
200 kg steel (iron) drums or ISO tank for bulk — or to customer requirement, filled under dry nitrogen. Distributed by Royalchem Spain from our Valladolid hub. Shelf life 24 months in original sealed packaging.
Storage Conditions:
Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from heat, sparks, open flames, oxidising agents, and acids; nitrogen blanketing is recommended, as this aromatic amine darkens and oxidises on exposure to air and light. Toxic and skin-absorbed — handle with respiratory protection and full PPE.
