N,N-Dihydroxyethylaniline (also known as N-phenyldiethanolamine or NNDHEA) is a tertiary aromatic amino-alcohol used principally as a coupling component in azo, disperse, and acid dyes, and as a versatile intermediate in pharmaceutical and specialty-chemical synthesis. Its bifunctional structure — an aniline nitrogen bearing two hydroxyethyl groups — makes it a reliable building block for textile colourants, corrosion inhibitors, and active-ingredient manufacture. Royalchem Spain supplies industrial-grade material at ≥ 97% assay (higher-purity grades available), EINECS-listed under 204-368-5, and delivered from our Valladolid distribution hub in 25 kg fibre drums or on pallets.

Primary coupling component for azo, disperse, and acid dyes. It is the precursor to C.I. Acid Red 299 (Nylosan Rubine N-5BL) for dyeing wool, nylon, and leather, and to numerous disperse dyes (e.g. the Disperse Red and Disperse Brown ranges) used on polyester and synthetic fibres.
A building block in the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients, including phenylephrine and alkylating-type agents. Its two reactive hydroxyethyl groups provide convenient sites for downstream functionalisation.
Used as a metal corrosion inhibitor that forms a protective adsorbed film on metal surfaces, as a component of hair-colourants and personal-care formulations, and as an intermediate for fluorescent / coumarin dyes and electronic resin systems.
Standard Packaging:
25 kg fibre drums, or 25 kg kraft-paper bags with PE inner liner, palletised; cartons available on request. Distributed by Royalchem Spain from our Valladolid hub. Shelf life 24 months in original sealed packaging.
Storage Conditions:
Store in tightly closed containers in a cool (below 30 °C), dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture; note the product softens and melts near 56 °C. Keep containers upright and resealed after use.
