Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate (sodium N-lauroylsarcosinate, CAS 137-16-6, INCI: Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate) is a mild anionic amino-acid surfactant derived from coconut-based lauric acid and sarcosine. Renowned for its rich, creamy foam even in hard water and over a wide pH range, excellent skin compatibility, and hair-conditioning after-feel, it is a leading sulfate-free choice for facial cleansers, shampoos, shaving products, and toothpastes. Royalchem Spain supplies the standard 30% aqueous solution (29–31% active) as a clear to slightly yellow liquid, delivered from our Valladolid distribution hub in drums or IBCs.

Ultra-gentle, non-stripping cleansing for sensitive-skin facial washes, makeup removers, and tear-free baby formulations — preserves the skin's moisture barrier while delivering a soft, conditioned after-feel.
A primary or co-surfactant giving rich, stable foam without sulfates — protects hair proteins and colour vibrancy in shampoos for coloured and damaged hair, and adds skin-conditioning luxury foam to premium shower gels.
Creates a dense, lubricating lather that reduces razor burn in shaving creams and foams, and serves as a classic SLS-alternative foaming agent in toothpastes and mouthwashes with mild taste profile.
Standard Packaging:
50 kg / 200 kg HDPE drums or 1000 kg IBC totes — or to customer requirement. Distributed by Royalchem Spain from our Valladolid hub. Shelf life 24 months in original sealed packaging.
Storage Conditions:
Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool, dry, frost-free area away from direct sunlight and strong oxidising agents. The solution may turn hazy or thicken below ≈ 10 °C — gentle warming and stirring restores clarity without loss of performance.
