What is THFA used for?
THFA is a mono-functional acrylate with a cyclic ether structure. It has low viscosity and very good adhesion to plastics and metals. This makes it suitable for many UV/EB systems.
UV-curable coatings and varnishes for PC, PET, ABS, metal.
UV/EB inks and overprint varnishes, especially for plastic packaging.
UV adhesives and sealants where fast curing and adhesion are required.
3D printing / UV resin as a reactive diluent.
Fiber / textile surface treatment and transfer printing auxiliaries.
Nanocomposite binders (e.g. Ag/polymer systems).
Why can buyers use it?
- consistent quality (99% min.)
- controlled inhibitor level for safer transport
- good adhesion on difficult substrates
- competitive sourcing by Royalchem
