Sodium lauroyl glutamate (SLG, INCI: Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, CAS 29923-31-7) is a mild anionic amino-acid surfactant derived from L-glutamic acid and lauric acid of vegetable origin. Skin-friendly and readily biodegradable, with a mildly acidic pH close to that of skin, it delivers gentle yet effective cleansing, a soft creamy foam, and a pleasant after-feel — making it a premium surfactant for facial cleansers, shampoos, body washes, and baby- and sensitive-skin care. Royalchem Spain supplies it at ≥ 95% active content as a white powder, delivered from our Valladolid distribution hub by bag or drum with COA and SDS for every batch.

A mild co- or primary surfactant for premium shampoos, body washes, and shower gels, giving a soft, creamy lather with a conditioned after-feel — ideal for sulfate-free and natural-positioned formulations.

Premium & Natural Personal Care

An amino-acid-based surfactant for anti-ageing, men's grooming, and clean-beauty products; typically used at 2–15% and combined with other mild surfactants, performing best around pH 6.0–6.5.

Storage Conditions:

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from moisture, heat, and strong oxidising agents, with bags tightly sealed. The powder is hygroscopic and can cake if exposed to humidity — keep sealed and minimise dust during handling.
